The Barbara Ann Scott Minto Alumni Scholarship Trust (BASMAST) is a fund established by Minto Skating Club members to assist Minto's skaters who wish to continue their post-secondary education.

 

The fund is named for the Club's most famous alumna, Barbara Ann Scott, 1948 World and Olympic Champion, who contributed a substantial amount to the fund.

 

BASMAST is an independently run registered charity governed by a Board of Directors who oversee the fund.  They consider all applications that come before them and award scholarships to qualified skaters annually.  Tax receipts are issued for all donations.
